New leaks about Hasbro’s 2026 Marvel Legends action figures have fans talking, especially when it comes to Hulk. The news comes from popular toy review channel Displaying Model Behavior, who recently shared a video about next year’s lineup.

One figure that caught attention is Hulk, labeled Gamma Goliath. This figure is expected to be part of the Spider-Man: Brand New Day set. Mark Ruffalo is confirmed to return as Dr. Bruce Banner in the MCU’s fourth Spider-Man movie, which adds even more interest.

Since Avengers: Endgame, Bruce Banner has been living as “Smart Hulk.” In this version, he keeps all his intelligence while having the Hulk’s strength and body. This is very different from the classic “Savage Hulk” that many fans still want to see.

Savage Hulk is the version where anger takes full control, his strength grows as he gets mad, and his mind clears of memories. He acts on instinct and can destroy almost anything in his way.

Fans are curious which version will appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Bruce has always struggled with controlling his transformations, and every clue about his next appearance gets a lot of attention. In the video, Displaying Model Behavior suggested that Hasbro’s new Hulk figure could hint at a shift from Smart Hulk back to Savage Hulk. “It wouldn’t be surprising if Spider-Man 4 finally brings back the Savage Hulk,” he said, though nothing is confirmed yet.

The figure is notable because Marvel Legends rarely releases many Hulk figures. Over 17 years of the MCU, Hasbro has made only four unique Hulk figures, not counting older Incredible Hulk toys or variants.

It’s also important to know that while Sony owns the Spider-Man film rights and Universal controls Hulk’s distribution, Marvel Studios and Disney handle merchandise. That means they decide which version of Hulk appears on toys and promotional materials.

What is certain about Spider-Man: Brand New Day is that Mark Ruffalo will return as Bruce Banner, and he will almost certainly transform into the Hulk at some point. Which Hulk appears, Smart or Savage, remains a mystery.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is the 38th MCU film and the fourth solo Spider-Man movie. Destin Daniel Cretton directs, with a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The cast includes Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, and Michael Mando.

The movie is scheduled to hit theaters in the United States on July 31, 2026, as part of Phase Six of the MCU. Fans will be watching closely to see which Hulk will smash back onto the big screen.
