Spider-Man is officially swinging into Magic: The Gathering. The web-slinger is joining Wizards of the Coast’s Universes Beyond line, which brings pop culture worlds into the popular card game.

After previous sets featuring The Lord of the Rings, Fallout, and other big franchises, Spider-Man is the latest hero to get his own set, launching on September 26.

This new crossover doesn’t just focus on Spider-Man himself. It also highlights his world, including the villains and companies that shape his story over decades of comics, movies, and games.

Collider has revealed three of the new cards, each showing a different part of Spider-Man’s universe.

The first card is called Strength of Will. It’s an Instant card that shows Peter Parker’s main trait: never giving up, even when things get really hard. The card gives indestructibility and adds +1/+1 counters based on how much damage it stops.

Next is Rocket-Powered Goblin Glider. This card is a fun nod to Norman Osborn’s famous weapon. It’s an Equipment card that gives +2/+0, flying, and haste. This means it can turn any creature into a fast, flying attacker. The card also has a graveyard recursion ability, making it come back into play even after it’s gone, just like Osborn always returns. It even has a special Mayhem ability that rewards aggressive play.

The third card is Oscorp Industries, a Land card representing the shady company that’s a big part of Spider-Man’s story. This card enters the battlefield tapped and punishes its controller if it’s replayed from the graveyard.

These three cards show how Magic: The Gathering is bringing Spider-Man’s world into the game. From Peter’s courage to Osborn’s tricks and Oscorp’s dangerous influence, each card reflects the character or story it represents. The Spider-Man Universes Beyond set will be available later this month and is already up for preorder.
