‘Spy × Family’ Anime Adaptation Reportedly Coming In 2022
Spy × Family (pronounced “Spy Family”), a manga series that debuted in March 2019 and released seven Volumes since then (Volume 8 will be released on November 4) is reportedly getting its first anime adaptation.
According to the report, the original manga, written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo, will be adapted into anime by WIT Studio and CloverWorks, with Kazuhiro Furuhashi set to direct, and Takuya Eguchi set to star as Loid Forger, Agent Twilight.
Synopsis of the original manga:
Agent Twilight, the greatest spy for the nation of Westalis, has to infiltrate an elite private school. In order to do so he assumes the identity of psychiatrist Loid Forger, adopts an orphan girl, and marries a city hall employee. Unknown to him, his daughter Anya is a telepath and his wife Yor is an assassin. The three learn to become a family while working to complete Twilight’s missions and maintain world peace.
