Stallone and Jackson Unite in Explosive ‘Tulsa King’ Season 3 Trailer
Paramount+ has unveiled the official trailer for the third season of Tulsa King, and it confirms big things are ahead for Dwight “The General” Manfredi. The new season premieres September 21, with Sylvester Stallone returning to lead the hit crime drama.
The trailer not only teases Dwight’s growing empire in Tulsa but also reveals the first look at Samuel L. Jackson’s character, Russell Lee Washington Jr. Jackson makes his debut this season before leading the upcoming spinoff NOLA King. In one scene, he sits at a bar across from Dwight and delivers the line: “A lot of ghosts? Well, I bet ain’t nobody seen that coming.”
Season three adds several new faces to the cast, including Robert Patrick as Jeremiah Dunmire, the feared head of the wealthy Dunmire family. Other additions include Beau Knapp, Bella Heathcoate, and James Russo. Returning cast members such as Martin Starr, Jay Will, Neal McDonough, and Frank Grillo also appear.

The story continues Dwight’s journey after building his criminal crew in Tulsa. Having survived rivals in earlier seasons, he now finds himself battling the Dunmires, a powerful family with money and influence who play by no rules. Dwight’s position, and the safety of his people, will be tested like never before.
Paramount says Tulsa King remains its top-performing original series. Season two set a record with more than 21 million viewers worldwide for its premiere episode, making it the most-watched global debut in the history of the platform at the time.
Beyond season three, the world of Tulsa King is expanding. Paramount confirmed that Jackson will headline NOLA King, set in New Orleans. The show will be produced by the same studios behind Tulsa King. Jackson is also serving as an executive producer on the project, which begins filming next year.
Stallone, meanwhile, continues as the face of the original series, which has held a top spot across streaming platforms since its debut. With Jackson now stepping in, fans can expect even more connections between the flagship series and its spinoff.
Bringing Samuel L. Jackson into Tulsa King feels like a major power move. His presence will not only add energy to the third season but also set the stage for a whole new series with NOLA King. It’s smart expansion for Paramount, and fans of both Stallone and Jackson are in for a treat. What do you think of this crossover? Share your thoughts in the comments.
