Lizzy Caplan may be hinting at a return to the magic world of the Four Horsemen. The actress attended the world premiere of Now You See Me: Now You Don’t on Monday, November 10, at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers in New York City, joining co-stars Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, and Dave Franco on the red carpet.

Fans quickly noticed her presence, sparking speculation that she could be reprising her role as Lula May from Now You See Me 2.

Caplan has not officially been confirmed for the third film, and she previously remained tight-lipped about her involvement.

In February, she told ScreenRant that she didn’t even know the movie had finished production. Jesse Eisenberg also teased surprises in the film during a September 2025 interview with Entertainment Weekly, saying, “The surprise appearances in the movie are just as much fun as they are surprising. These are not boring appearances. It’s the best kind of shock because it’s a surprise but also done in such an unusual way.”

The premiere also featured Isla Fisher, returning as Henley Reeves, along with Morgan Freeman, Rosamund Pike, Ariana Greenblatt, Dominic Sessa, Justice Smith, and director Ruben Fleischer.

Now You See Me: Now You Don’t is the third installment in the popular heist series, following Now You See Me 2 (2016). Directed by Ruben Fleischer, the movie was written by Michael Lesslie, Seth Grahame-Smith, and the team of Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, based on a story by Lesslie and Eric Warren Singer. Lionsgate is set to release the film in the United States on November 14.

The movie follows the Four Horsemen as they recruit three new illusionists for a high-stakes heist: stealing the world’s largest queen diamond from a powerful crime family. Returning actors include Jesse Eisenberg as Danny Atlas, Woody Harrelson as Merritt McKinney, Dave Franco as Jack Wilder, Isla Fisher as Henley Reeves, and Morgan Freeman as Thaddeus Bradley.

New additions to the cast include Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, Ariana Greenblatt, and Rosamund Pike as the antagonist Veronika Vanderberg. Mark Ruffalo also reprises his role as Dylan Rhodes, a former FBI agent and grandmaster of the Eye.

While it remains unclear if Caplan will officially return, her red carpet appearance certainly raised eyebrows and fueled excitement among fans. Her chemistry with the cast and the timing of her attendance seem to suggest that a familiar face could appear in the film, keeping audiences guessing until the release.
