‘Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories – Codebreaker’ #1 Preview: Poe and BB-8 Are Ready for a New Mission
As you know, Star Wars is one of the biggest franchises of all time and arguably the biggest sci-fi franchise of all times. This explains why there are so many derivative works and why the Star Wars universe is such a large and expansive universe.
And while the majority of the Star Wars comics are under Marvel’s ownership, Dark Horse Comics is also publishing several series and one of them is the new title Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories – Codebreaker.
Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories – Codebreaker #1 is coming out on April 30, 2025 and we have the first preview images for you!

The story itself is coming to us by Ethan Sacks and artist José Marzan Jr., and it is going to follow Sequel veterans Poe Dameron and BB-8 as they head out on a new and dangerous solo adventure. Here is what the synopsis reveals:
Poe Dameron is a confident, hotshot ace Resistance pilot. He and his outspoken droid companion, BB-8, have seen plenty of action against the First Order. Now, they are sent on a mission to investigate a piece of First Order tech used to decode Resistance messages, but standing between them and their objective is an infamous TIE fighter pilot. Can Poe out-fly his enemy, or will the mission go down in flames before it begins?
