‘Stranger Things’ Star Noah Schnapp Teases Divisive Final Season Ending
Noah Schnapp has shared his thoughts on how Stranger Things will end, and he is clear that the finale will not make every fan happy.
The comments came from a recent interview where the actor spoke openly about the pressure surrounding the show’s final episode.
Schnapp said it is unrealistic to expect a single ending to satisfy everyone. “It’s literally impossible,” he explained, adding that the creative team is not trying to please one group of fans over another. He pointed out that the final episode carries a lot of weight.
“There’s so much pressure on that last episode to not just finish the season, but the last episode also tells a story of what the whole show was.”
Despite the constant online debate, Schnapp said the cast and creators have learned to block out the outside noise. “I think the Duffers and us as a cast, honestly, are good at tuning out the noise.” He noted that fans often argue about how the story should end, but that does not affect how the show is written.
Schnapp praised the Duffer Brothers for staying focused and confident in their vision. “There are always people fighting over what should happen and what shouldn’t. The Duffers are really good at being tunnel vision.” He added that the show has always been carefully mapped out. “They’re so smart in how they write the show and everything has a purpose. Everything was planned.”
The fifth and final season of Stranger Things is now almost finished. The series will end with a finale episode that runs longer than two hours. The episode is set to release on December 31 and will be available on Netflix, with select movie theaters also showing it.
Season 5 has already sparked mixed reactions from fans. Some viewers have complained online about the large number of characters and limited screen time in the final eight episodes. Others feel the story has become too complicated, especially with its growing focus on end-of-the-world themes and deep mythology.
