The movie’s story follows Kara Zor-El as she celebrates her 21st birthday by traveling across the galaxy with her dog, Krypto. Along the way, she meets a young girl named Ruthye Marye Knoll. After a tragic event, Kara goes on a violent quest for revenge.
Milly Alcock plays Kara Zor-El, who grew up on a piece of the destroyed planet Krypton. She watched everyone around her die, making her a tougher and more jaded hero than Superman, who was raised on Earth. According to producer James Gunn, she is a “pixie-ish, but very attitudinal character.”
