‘Supergirl’ Star Milly Alcock Trades Red Carpet Drama for Effortless Cool at Balenciaga’s Paris Show
Paris Fashion Week has reached its busiest stretch, and the front rows are packed with familiar faces from film and television. Among the stars making the rounds is Milly Alcock, whose appearance at Balenciaga’s latest show has quickly caught the attention of fashion fans. The ‘Supergirl’ star has become a regular presence in the style world, and this latest outing shows a different side of her wardrobe.
Alcock’s relationship with fashion has been building for years. The Sydney native first won audiences over as young Rhaenyra Targaryen in HBO’s ‘House of the Dragon’, and has since become known as one of the franchise’s most fashionable alumni, attending Louis Vuitton shows in Paris and collaborating with Miu Miu.
Last October, she also attended Loewe’s Spring/Summer 2026 show during Paris Fashion Week. On October 1, Balenciaga held its invitation-only Spring/Summer 2027 show at 2 p.m., and Alcock was photographed arriving in a deliberately casual outfit. Photos shared on X by several outlets show her in a navy zip-up jacket with a high neck, paired with relaxed wide-leg blue jeans and black flats.
The accessories carried the look. Alcock wore oversized black sunglasses and stacked chunky rings, and carried a slouchy brown leather bag with long dangling straps. Her blonde hair fell in tousled waves with a few thin braids woven through, adding a slightly undone, effortless finish.
She wasn’t alone, either. Alcock and Lola Tung were photographed together at the show, marking a fun crossover between 2 rising young stars. What makes the outfit stand out is how different it feels from her previous Balenciaga moments.
One analysis described the Paris show look as an off-duty version of the same wardrobe world, noting that Alcock’s relaxed arrival fits a trend of guests using show day to express personal style instead of wearing a full runway look.

That contrast is especially clear when compared to her biggest Balenciaga moment of the year. For the ‘Supergirl’ world premiere in New York City on June 22, she wore a monochrome black look from the label’s Spring 2026 collection, featuring a strapless structured bodice with a bubble peplum, black trousers, and leather gloves.
That collection carried extra significance. It marked designer Pierpaolo Piccioli’s debut at Balenciaga as creative director, a role he took on in July 2025 after being appointed that May.
The label has become a constant presence in Alcock’s style this year. Balenciaga has appeared repeatedly in her 2026 wardrobe, including a fitted bustier top, slim tailored pants, and a belt worn at CCXP Mexico in April, plus a scooped mini dress for a Vogue Australia appearance in May.

Her broader ‘Supergirl’ press tour also showed impressive range. At CinemaCon, she wore a Chanel knit sweater echoing the iconic Superman emblem, while a London photocall saw her mix distressed embellishment with denim and McQueen Kate sunglasses. Working with stylist Felicity Kay, she also wore pieces by Joyce Bao and Jason Wu.
The timing of the Paris appearance is notable. ‘Supergirl’ recently arrived on HBO Max, giving Alcock’s DCU debut a second chance with streaming audiences. Her presence at a high-profile show like Balenciaga keeps her firmly in the spotlight during that new chapter.

With fashion houses clearly eager to dress her, it seems likely Alcock will remain a front-row fixture for seasons to come. Her latest look proves she doesn’t need a red carpet gown to make an impression.
