Sutton Foster Reportedly Wary of Hugh Jackman’s On-Set Chemistry with Kate Hudson

Kate Hudson’s friendly and flirty behavior on the set of Song Sung Blue is catching everyone’s attention, especially her co-star Hugh Jackman. According to RadarOnline.com, Jackman’s girlfriend, Sutton Foster, is keeping a close eye on the situation.

“Kate is flirty by nature. She’s warm, touchy. People get swept up,” a source told RadarOnline.com. The insider added that Jackman “responds right back” to Hudson’s energy.

A theater source also spoke about Foster, saying, “She’s protective of her relationship with Hugh.” Even though Hudson is engaged to musician Danny Fujikawa, the source said Foster remembers her own past with Jackman.

The two reportedly grew close while performing together in Broadway’s The Music Man. The source added, “She knows better than anyone that he can’t always be trusted around the people he works with.”

Jackman has had a complicated romantic history. Cheating rumors followed him after his long marriage to Deborra-Lee Furness ended. After their divorce, Furness shared a cryptic post hinting Jackman “was not loyal” during their years together.

Jackman and Furness had been married since April 11, 1996. They met on the Australian TV show Correlli, and Jackman even designed his own engagement ring for Furness. The couple had two children after experiencing two miscarriages.

Jackman now lives in New York City. He and Furness announced their separation in September 2023, and the divorce was finalized in June. As of December, Jackman is dating his The Music Man co-star Sutton Foster, who clearly wants to make sure nothing threatens their relationship.
