Sydney Sweeney Goes Full Bridal at Euphoria Premiere and Fans Can’t Look Away
Sydney Sweeney recently commanded the spotlight at the season 3 premiere of Euphoria on Tuesday, April 7. The 28-year-old actress arrived in a striking archival Pierre Cardin gown from 2007, a draped white ensemble featuring a dramatic floor-length cape.
Styled by Molly Dickson, she paired the look with a rhinestone-encrusted bow and sparkling diamond jewelry, opting for soft waves and iridescent eyeshadow to complete the ethereal aesthetic.
This bridal-inspired appearance may hint at the upcoming journey for her character, Cassie Howard. Series creator Sam Levinson previously indicated that the third season includes a five-year time jump, during which Cassie eventually marries Nate Jacobs.
For Sweeney, the role has been more than just a career milestone; it has been a catalyst for personal growth. In a March interview, she revealed that playing Cassie helped her overcome long-standing insecurities, noting, “It’s actually powerful to be confident; our bodies are incredible.”

While fans celebrated the return of the series, Sweeney’s co-star Zendaya recently shared some bittersweet news regarding the show’s future. During an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show on April 6, the actress suggested that the hit HBO drama will conclude with this third installment.
When asked if the end was near, she simply replied, “I think so,” while adding that “closure is coming.” Zendaya expressed deep gratitude for her time as Rue Bennett, stating, “Euphoria, it cracked my heart open,” and credited the role with teaching her invaluable lessons about empathy and redemption.
As the iconic series begins its final chapter, both lead actresses are preparing for a massive slate of cinematic projects throughout the year. Sydney Sweeney is currently enjoying the continued success of her thriller The Housemaid, which became a major box office hit following its late 2025 release.
She is set to reprise her role as Millie Calloway in the sequel, The Housemaid’s Secret, which has already been fast-tracked for a December 2027 theatrical release. Additionally, she is in pre-production for the highly anticipated Barbarella remake, which is being directed by Edgar Wright and produced under her Fifty-Fifty Films banner.
Zendaya is also entering an exceptionally busy period, with several high-profile films scheduled for release later this year. She recently starred in the A24 drama The Drama, which hit theaters in March to critical acclaim.
Looking ahead to the summer, she will reunite with Tom Holland in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, followed by a role as Athena in Christopher Nolan’s epic adventure The Odyssey in July. She is also expected to return as Chani for the final installment of the Dune trilogy, Dune: Part Three.
