Sydney Sweeney Turns Heads in Daring Gown at Star-Studded Academy Museum Gala
Sydney Sweeney made a striking entrance at the 5th Annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday, turning heads alongside Hailey Bieber and Jenna Ortega.
The Euphoria star, 28, who is busy promoting her new film Christy, joined Bieber, 28, the founder of Rhode, and Ortega, 23, the Wednesday actress, for the glamorous evening.
The event celebrated several prominent figures, including Bruce Springsteen, Bowen Yang, and Penelope Cruz. Sweeney chose a halter-style black velvet gown with a daring front cutout that highlighted her famous cleavage.
She paired the look with open-toed black heels and styled her hair in an elegant updo, leaving a few strands loose to frame her face.
Her accessories were kept minimal to let the gown stand out, with only small silver earrings and a statement ring on her right hand.
Her makeup was polished, featuring mascara, shimmering eyeshadow, a warm blush on her cheeks, and a nude glossy lip.
Sweeney, who is currently dating music executive Scooter Braun, smiled for photographers as she arrived at the star-studded Hollywood gala.

This year’s gala was co-chaired by Jon M. Chu, Viola Davis, Robert Downey Jr., and Jennifer Hudson. Amy Homma, the Academy Museum director and president, commented on the significance of the evening, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“The Academy Museum gala is a special evening dedicated to bringing together individuals to champion the celebration, advancement and preservation of cinema,” Homma said.
“As we gather for a fifth year, we are honored to recognize Penelope Cruz, Walter Salles, Bruce Springsteen and Bowen Yang – storytellers whose influence has been proven to resonate in film and beyond. We are so thankful to founding supporters of the museum, including our partner Rolex, for their long-standing commitment to cinema, and our co-chairs for hosting this important event.”
The gala highlighted the impact of cinema and honored those who have made lasting contributions to the art form, all while giving attendees a glamorous evening to celebrate Hollywood’s biggest stars.
