Legendary action movie star, Sylvester Stallone, posted on his Instagram account that he’s currently in England where he started working on the fourth installment of his action franchise ‘The Expendables’

Written and directed by Stallone, the first installment of the franchise was released in 2010. Two sequels followed it in 2012 and 2014, respectively. The franchise featured many action stars like Dolph Lundgren, Harrison Ford, Wesley Snipes, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Antonio Banderas, Mickey Rourke, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Mel Gibson, etc.

Stallone announced that the fourth installment is now in development with new cast members set to appear. New cast members include Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, Andy Garcia, and 50 Cent. No worries, it won’t be an entirely new cast, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, and Stallone (of course) are also set to reprise their roles.

The franchise was mostly well-received by fans, although the third movie received criticism mainly for its PG-13 rating, which didn’t really fit well into the concept of the franchise considering the first two movies were rated R. It is unknown when the fourth movie will be released, but we are eager to find out what Stallone prepared for us this time.
