Sylvester Stallone is back as Dwight Manfredi in Season 3 of Tulsa King. Filming has started, and Stallone himself gave fans a glimpse on Instagram. I

n the post, Stallone is seen wearing a sharp suit and holding a cigar. He teased, “We’re about to do something a little devious.” Fans can’t help but wonder if the cigar is real — hopefully not, since that might not be safe.

Season 2 ended on a dramatic note. Bill Bevilaqua killed Chickie, while Dwight got kidnapped by a mysterious group. Now, it seems that Dwight and Bill might join forces in the new season. It could either be a smart business move or a complete disaster. Maybe both.

There’s another exciting update: Neal McDonough’s character, Cal Thresher, is now the governor of Oklahoma. In an interview, McDonough shared how he pitched the idea to the show’s executive producer, David Glasser. “I said, ‘David, I’d like to come back as the governor next year.’ He thought about it and said, ‘That’s a good idea.’” Two weeks later, McDonough got the call to start filming.

The series, created by Taylor Sheridan, is known for its unique blend of crime drama and dark comedy. Set in Oklahoma, it’s far from your usual mafia story. Stallone’s character, Dwight, is always balancing between clever schemes and chaotic mishaps. McDonough praised Sheridan, calling him “possibly the most prolific writer of our time.

While there’s no official release date for Season 3 yet, filming is underway.
