Blade Runner (Franchise)

Blade Runner is a science fiction multi-media franchise  based on the novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? written by Phillip K. Dick. The original Blade Runner was released in 1982 and was directed by Ridley Scott, followed by a sequel Blade Runner 2049 (2017), and the anime series Blade Runner: Black Lotus (2021). Blade Runner is set in a dystopian future in Los Angeles where synthetic humans (Replicants) are being created by Tyrell Corporation in order to provide labor for space colonies. Replicants soon start to rebel and one group even manages to escape and make its way back to Earth. Police officer Rick Deckard is assigned with tracking them down.
