Spy/Master

“Spy/Master” is a new espionage thriller series on HBO set during the Cold War. The show follows the story of Victor Godeanu, a trusted aide to Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu, who secretly works as a KGB agent. As his cover becomes increasingly precarious, Godeanu is forced to escape Romania and Ceaușescu’s regime in order to protect his own life.

The series consists of six parts and features a talented ensemble cast, including Laurentiu Bãnescu from “Umbre,” Claudiu Bleont known for “Catherine the Great,” Conor Lowson from “The Bay,” Aidan McArdle seen in “Red Election,” Nico Mirallegro from “Rillington Place,” Ana Ularu from “The Power,” and Andreea Vasile known for her role in “Umbre.”
