‘Tales Of The Shire’ Physical Release Announced For Switch

Great news for The Lord of the Rings fans! Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Game is getting a physical release for the Nintendo Switch. This announcement comes after the confirmation that the game will also be available digitally. Both versions are set to release on July 29, 2025.

The physical release was announced by iam8bit. Fans will be able to choose between a standard retail edition and an exclusive edition. The standard edition will come with some extra goodies. It includes a fold-out map of the quaint village of Bywater and a download code for the game’s official soundtrack.

The exclusive edition offers even more for collectors. It will feature a special cover sleeve along with the map and the soundtrack.

This edition is available for pre-order now through the iam8bit website for $39.99. The game is set to ship on July 29, 2025.

The game lets players decorate their Hobbit house, go fishing, and build relationships with other Hobbits. Although it combines elements from other life-simulation games, Tales of the Shire stands out by putting a strong focus on cooking.
