The Batman: Preview Screening Of DC’s Newest Movie Will Be Held In Europe’s Biggest Cinema

The Batman is one of the most anticipated movies this year, particularly in the year’s first quarter. The Batman is less than a month away, and the fans in Paris, France will have a special privilege to watch the movie before anyone else in the world.

While The Batman is still scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on March 4, the official account of Le Grand Rex announced that the special preview screening of the movie will be held on March 1, and the fans will be able to get tickets starting February 9. If you live in Paris, you don’t want to miss this!

With 2800 seats, Le Grand Rex is the biggest cinema in Europe. Last year, WB’s epic blockbuster Dune also had a screening in this theater. Although it wasn’t a world premiere, the part of the cast still attended the premiere screening in this theater. It’s unknown if anyone from the cast of The Batman will attend the preview screening of the movie in Paris.

Originally developed as the Batfleck solo movie, The Batman was reshaped to another reboot of the Batman franchise after Ben Affleck left the project. Writer and director Matt Reeves revealed that he didn’t like the original script for the film, so the movie’s development was restarted after Robert Pattinson was cast as the new Caped Crusader. Reeves decided to make Batman younger, Batman who is only in the second year of his crime-fighting career, and the movie will focus a lot on Batman’s inner darkness, detective abilities, and some reports are even saying the movie is featuring some horror elements and mild sexual content.

During his second year of fighting crime, Batman pursues the Riddler, a serial killer who targets elite Gotham City citizens. He uncovers corruption that connects to his own family during the investigation, and is forced to make new allies to catch the Riddler and bring the corrupt to justice.” — The Batman, official synopsis

The Batman is starring Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Paul Dano as Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin. Two sequels are planned, as well as two spin-off shows for HBOMax.

The Batman will hit theaters worldwide on March 4, 2022.
