As the new Batman movie is getting closer, we are getting more and more info about the movie every day. Of course, fans are eagerly waiting for the DC FanDome this month where we’ll get a new official trailer, but until then, we still have some other teases to give attention to.

Jeffrey Wright, who will play Batman’s known ally Gordon in the movie, in the recent interview with ET praised the main star Robert Pattinson, calling his incarnation of Batman “pretty badass”.

“Robert is gonna do his thing, and we were working within a Matt Reeves vision, so you know, Robert is doing what Robert does and it’s gonna be pretty badass I think.”

The Batman is the first movie of the planned trilogy directed by Matt Reeves. With Pattinson as titular hero and Wright as Gordon, the movie also stars Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle, Paul Dano as Riddler, John Turturro as crime boss Carmine Falcone, Andy Serkis as Alfred, and Colin Farrell as Penguin.

After being delayed twice during the pandemic, The Batman is now set to hit theaters on March 4, 2022. With two planned sequels, there are also two spin-off shows in development for HBOMax.
