Matt Reeves’ sequel to ‘The Batman‘ has spent months feeding fans a steady stream of leaked set photos and videos, each one offering another small piece of a production Warner Bros. has otherwise kept tightly under wraps. Between snow-covered Gotham streets, battle-damaged Batmobiles, and GCPD vehicles chasing the Dark Knight’s ride through Glasgow, the internet has pieced together a surprisingly detailed picture of the film’s tone well before any official footage has dropped.

That steady drip of leaks has focused almost entirely on vehicles, sets, and supporting cast so far, with one notable absence: an actual look at the Batsuit itself. Given how carefully Reeves has guarded the film’s visuals, most assumed any glimpse of the suit would stay hidden until Warner Bros. was ready to reveal it on their own terms.

That changed this week. According to a report from ComingSoon.net, the Batsuit, worn by a stunt double, has now been spotted on the set of ‘The Batman: Part II,’ with footage circulating online from filming in Liverpool. Robert Pattinson is confirmed to reprise his role as Bruce Wayne in the sequel, directed once again by Reeves.

Reeves has previously confirmed the Batsuit received small design tweaks for the follow-up film, and the newly surfaced footage appears to bear that out. The original suit from 2022’s ‘The Batman’ featured a distinctive armored collar and heavy chest plate, and these new glimpses suggest the sequel’s version keeps that same overall silhouette while refining specific panel details rather than pursuing a full redesign.

This isn’t the first time a stunt performer has offered an early hint of the suit’s presence on set. Back in May, Rick English, who served as Pattinson’s stunt double in the first film, was photographed atop a moving police car during second unit filming, though he appeared to be wearing more of a generic stunt suit rather than the fully finished Batsuit at that stage of production.

The Batsuit sighting adds to an already extensive collection of leaked material from the shoot. Glasgow and Liverpool have both stood in for Gotham City throughout filming, with locals repeatedly capturing GCPD squad cars, SWAT vans, and a heavily damaged Batmobile performing high-speed maneuvers through snow-covered streets, despite production taking place in the final weeks of summer.

That police presence appears to carry real narrative weight. Multiple set videos have shown GCPD officers actively pursuing and even firing on the Batmobile, suggesting Gotham’s police force may view Batman as an outlaw once again by the time the sequel picks up, a notable shift from where the first film left their relationship. Jeffrey Wright returns as Jim Gordon, alongside new additions including Sebastian Stan, reportedly playing Harvey Dent, and Scarlett Johansson in a role widely believed to be Gilda Dent.

Production is expected to continue in Glasgow through September, meaning more leaked footage is almost certainly still to come before Warner Bros. eventually controls the narrative with an official first look. ‘The Batman: Part II’ is currently set to open in theaters February 18, 2028, giving fans plenty of time to keep piecing together clues from whatever else slips out during the remainder of filming.
