After months of waiting, the wait is almost at an end. New Star Wars Disney+ show – The Book of Boba Fett – will officially premiere on December 29, 2021.

The Book of Boba Fett was officially announced last year in the post credit scene of The Mandalorian Season 2 Finale.

Based on the character we met back in the original Star Wars trilogy, the show will follow a bounty hunter who we saw last time not even a year ago, in the second season of The Mandalorian, where the character was played by Temuera Morrison (Aquaman), who will reprise the role in this spin-off show. The show will also see Ming-Na Wen return as Fennec Shand, who we also met in The Mandalorian.

The Book of Boba Fett

“The Book of Boba Fett” stars Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen. Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson are the executive producers. Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck serve as co-executive producers, with John Bartnicki producing and John Hampian as co-producer.

The Book of Boba Fett is the second live-action Disney+ show placed in the Star Wars universe.
