The Boys Season 3: First Look At Nick Wechsler as Blue Hawk Revealed
The third season of the popular, satirical, R-rated, superhero series The Boys is so close. Although not as close as we’d like it to be. Considering there’s still no official premiere date, who knows how much waiting we’re gonna have to endure. But at least, Prime Video keeps teasing us with new stuff that we can expect in this highly anticipated season.
After revealing Jensen Ackles Soldier Boy last summer, and Laurie Holden’s Crimson Countess last month, now we have the first look at another newcomer Supe known as Blue Hawk, portrayed by Nick Wechsler.
As showrunner Eric Kripke recently teased, Soldier Boy, Crimson Countess, and Blue Hawk are some of the heroes that form that other superhero team in The Boys franchise, called Payback. Payback was a superhero team that existed before the Seven, and they had an important role in building the Seven and basically everything that’s happening in the series now. As Kripke teased, a part of Season 3 will be about Payback and how they influenced the forming of the Seven.
“Season 3’s fun because it’s not just about Soldier Boy, but it’s about the team he was a part of which is called Payback. Laurie Holden plays Crimson Countess and there’s a bunch of other heroes who are amazing. So, sort of seeing who was the Seven before the Seven. And what was life like for Vought? In the history of Vought, what was it like in the 60s and 70s and 80s? To dig into the history of the world, not just the present has been a lot of fun.”

The Boys Season 3 is set to premiere on Prime Video next year. The exact release date is still TBA.
