‘The Boys’ Unleash First-Ever Official Video Game in VR — Trailer Just Dropped
The first official video game based on The Boys is finally happening, and it’s coming only to VR. Sony Pictures Virtual Reality and the studio Arvore revealed that the game is called The Boys: Trigger Warning.
They shared the news along with the first trailer, confirming that the game will be released in spring 2026 for Meta Quest 3 and PlayStation VR2 for $23.99.
This VR game focuses on stealth and action, letting players step right into the middle of the fight against Supes. You don’t play as a known character from the show. Instead, you control someone new who stumbles into a dark Vought secret during what should have been a normal family trip.
That moment pushes the character into becoming a Supe, and from there, you team up with The Boys to break into Vought and bring chaos right back to them.

Familiar faces from the Prime Video show pop up throughout the story. Laz Alonso returns as Mother’s Milk, Colby Minifie is back as Ashley Barrett, and P.J. Byrne is once again voicing Adam Bourke. Jensen Ackles also appears as a “twisted interpretation” of Soldier Boy made only for the game. The trailer shows Homelander and Billy Butcher too, but it’s not known yet if Antony Starr or Karl Urban are voicing them.
Arvore, the team behind The Line, YUKI, and the Pixel Ripped games, says this project was built closely with the people behind the show.
Ricardo Justus, founder and head of the studio, said, “From day one, we wanted to build an adaptation hand-in-hand with the people who defined this universe. Working with the show’s writers and cast allowed us to bring the edge, humor, and brutality that made the series iconic, delivered with the spark of magic only Arvore can create.”
The timing of Trigger Warning lines up with the release of The Boys Season 5, which arrives on April 8. It’s the final season, starting with two episodes and continuing weekly until the finale on May 20.
