The story follows Momochi Himari, an orphan who inherits the Momochi family estate on her 16th birthday despite warnings of it being haunted. Unfazed, she moves in, only to find three handsome young men—Aoi, Yukari, and Ise—illegally occupying the house. They reveal the house straddles the human and spirit worlds, and Himari learns of her destined role as guardian.
