‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ Gets Digital Release Date with a Deleted Scene Preview
Marvel fans don’t have to wait for theaters to see the Fantastic Four anymore. The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be available to stream and buy on digital platforms starting September 23.
The movie introduces the newest Marvel Cinematic Universe team, including Reed Richards, aka Mister Fantastic, played by Pedro Pascal; Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman, played by Vanessa Kirby; Johnny Storm, the Human Torch, played by Joseph Quinn; and Ben Grimm, the Thing, played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach.
The story takes place in a retrofuturistic 1960s and follows the heroes as they face a huge threat from Galactus, played by Ralph Ineson. The villain arrives on Earth with a dangerous demand, setting the stage for a high-stakes adventure.
The digital release comes with bonus features, including a deleted scene that was released to promote the digital release.

For viewers who prefer physical copies, the movie will hit 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on October 14. The discs will include deleted scenes, behind-the-scenes featurettes, a gag reel, and commentary by director Matt Shakman and production designer Kasra Farahani.
Marvel films usually appear on Disney+ a few weeks after the Blu-ray release, so fans can expect it on the streaming platform in mid-to-late November.
The film first premiered in theaters on July 25. It is rated PG-13 “for action/violence and some language” and runs 1 hour and 55 minutes.
Other cast members include Julia Garner as Shalla-Bal/Silver Surfer, Natasha Lyonne as Rachel Rozman, and the main supporting actors like Paul Walter Hauser as Mole Man and Ralph Ineson as Galactus.
This home release gives fans a chance to catch the Fantastic Four at home while enjoying extra content that wasn’t in theaters. The combination of retrofuturistic style and a fresh take on the MCU team makes it appealing to longtime fans and newcomers alike.
