The Final Trailer for ‘Project Hail Mary’ Is Here, and It’s a Wonder You Don’t Wanna Miss
Amazon MGM has just pulled back the curtain on the final trailer for its high-stakes space adventure, Project Hail Mary. This latest look finally introduces us to Rocky, a five-legged alien who appears to be much more than just a background character.
The story follows Dr. Ryland Grace, a scientist who wakes up on a spacecraft light-years away from home with no memory of his past. He soon realizes that he is humanity’s last hope in a mission to prevent an extinction-level event back on Earth.
The film is an adaptation of the 2021 novel by Andy Weir, the author behind the survival hit The Martian. If you have read the book, you already know we are in for an emotional rollercoaster with this one.

Audiences can catch the movie in theaters nationwide on March 20. However, Amazon announced that Prime members will have early access to tickets for screenings on March 16.
These early shows will be available in premium formats like IMAX, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, and 70MM. Fans looking to secure their spot can buy tickets through Fandango starting February 20.
Ryan Gosling stars as Dr. Ryland Grace and also serves as a producer on the film. He has been incredibly busy lately, coming off the massive success of Barbie and the action-comedy The Fall Guy.
He is joined in the cast by Sandra Hüller, who plays his intense superior, Eva Stratt. Other notable cast members include Milana Vayntrub, Ken Leung, and Lionel Boyce.
The film is directed by the duo Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the creative minds behind the Spider-Verse movies. The screenplay was penned by Drew Goddard, who also adapted Weir’s previous work for the big screen.
The production used a mix of physical puppetry and digital effects to bring the alien Rocky to life. James Ortiz provided the voice and acted as the lead puppeteer on set to interact with Gosling.
Looking ahead, Gosling is rumored to be involved in an Ocean’s Eleven prequel alongside Margot Robbie. He has also been linked to a potential sequel for the Netflix thriller The Gray Man.
For now, all eyes are on this interstellar journey and whether it can capture the same magic as Weir’s previous adaptations. It marks a return to more serious, dramatic science fiction for Gosling after a string of comedic hits.
The film’s focus on isolation and scientific problem-solving promises a unique experience for moviegoers this spring. With the release date approaching, the excitement for this cosmic partnership continues to build.
