The Flash: Promotional Images For ‘Armageddon Part 4’ Are Showing Barry Allen in Reverse Flash Suit

New promotional stills for the fourth part of Armageddon – the 5-part Arrowverse crossover event – are showing Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen wearing Reverse Flash suit, and Eobard Thawne wearing The Flash suit. Hell of a switch.

The Flash Season 8 premiered on November 16, and it was announced that the first five episodes will be a crossover event called Armageddon, the first Arrowverse crossover since Crisis on Infinite Earths.

The first three episodes have already aired, and the third one finished with one big cliffhanger. Barry Allen traveled 10 years in the future, in 2031, where he found out that his wife Iris West in about to get married to Eobard Thawne, his arch-enemy, also known as Reverse Flash, who’s been bothering Barry since the show began in 2014.

Tom Cavanagh has been playing Eobard Thawne, and a few more good versions of Harrison Wells during the whole show. Last season, it was announced that Cavanagh will step down from the position of series regular, but he agreed to return this season for the crossover event in a special guest role. Chyler Leigh as Dr. Alex Danvers, Cress Williams as Jefferson Pierce/Black Lightning, and Javicia Leslie as Ryan Wilder also appeared in the latest episode as special guest stars.

The promotional images are also showing the return of Osric Chau, who debuted as Dr. Ryan Choi in Crisis on Infinite Earths, and Neal McDonough as Damien Darhk, who is, like Reverse Flash, one of the long-term Arrowverse villains.

Armageddon crossover event will continue on December 7 with its Part 4, and conclude on December 14. After that, The Flash Season 8 will continue regularly on March 9, 2022.

The show is starring Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West-Allen, Danielle Panabaker as Dr. Caitlin Snow and Frost, Danielle Nicolet as Defense Attorney Cecile Horton, Kayla Compton as Allegra Garcia, Brandon McKnight as Chester P. Runk, Jesse L. Martin as Joe West as series regulars.
