The Flight Attendant Season 2: Sharon Stone Joins Cast

HBOMax’s show The Flight Attendant starring Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco as Cassie Bowden premiered in November 2020, and after airing its 8-episode first season, the series was renewed for Season 2, which is currently in production and it’s set to premiere on HBOMax this year.

According to Deadline, Basic Instinct and Casino star Sharon Stone joined the cast of the series for the second season. Stone is set to star as Lisa Bowden, Cassie Bowden’s estranged mother. The report described Stone’s character as a mother who lost patience and any goodwill for her Cassie due to her alcoholism.

Based on Chris Bohjalian‘s novel of the same name The Flight Attendant follows Cassie Bowden, a flight attendant and an alcoholic who meets a dreamy passenger on one flight to Bangkok. After spending the night with him, Cassie wakes up with no memories of what happened, and the passenger is found murdered in the same room. Panicked, Cassie returns to the US, where she’s met with the FBI. Unable to remember what happened, Cassie will start wondering who the killer could be, and could it be her, maybe.

Created by Steve Yockey, The Flight Attendant is starring Kaley Cuoco, Michiel Huisman, Zosia Mamet, T. R. Knight, Michelle Gomez, Colin Woodell, Merle Dandridge, Griffin Matthews, Nolan Gerard Funk, and Rosie Perez. The series has a score of 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, and the series also won the Emmy Primetime Award for the Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music.

The Flight Attendant Season 1 is now available on HBOMax, season 2 is now in production.
