‘The Night Manager’ Season 2: First Teaser Trailer Released by BBC and Amazon
Tom Hiddleston is returning as Jonathan Pine in the second season of The Night Manager, with the BBC and Amazon releasing the first teaser trailer.
The new season arrives eight years after the original, BAFTA and Emmy-winning series, giving fans a long-awaited look at Pine’s next chapter. The trailer premiered on BBC just before the finale of The Celebrity Traitors, which has drawn over 13.2 million viewers in the UK.
In this new season, Pine has taken on the identity of Alex Goodwin, a low-level MI6 officer leading a quiet surveillance unit in London. Life seems calm until he spots an old Roper mercenary, which drags him back into a dangerous world.
His mission leads him to Colombia, where he crosses paths with Teddy Dos Santos, a powerful businessman played by Diego Calva. Pine teams up with Roxana Bolaños, portrayed by Camila Morrone, to infiltrate Teddy’s arms operation. The plot deepens as Pine becomes entangled in a conspiracy involving guerrilla army training and the destabilization of a nation.
