Peacock is shaking things up for The Office spinoff, The Paper. Instead of releasing episodes weekly, the streaming service will drop all 10 episodes of Season 1 at once on September 4, 2025, according to Variety.

This means fans can binge the entire season from day one, rather than waiting for the finale at the end of the month.

The Paper is a mockumentary sitcom created by Greg Daniels and Michael Koman, set in the same universe as the original The Office.

The show follows the Toledo Truth-Teller, a historic but struggling newspaper in Toledo, Ohio, as a documentary crew captures the efforts of its staff and volunteer reporters trying to revive it.

Domhnall Gleeson stars as Ned Sampson, the new editor-in-chief, with Sabrina Impacciatore as Esmeralda Grand. Other cast members include Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, Tim Key, and Oscar Nunez, who reprises his role as Oscar Martinez from the original series.

Greg Daniels first announced the spinoff in January 2024, with Michael Koman joining as co-creator in March. Peacock officially ordered the series in May 2024, revealing in June that it would be titled The Paper.

Production began the following month. Daniels, Koman, Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant, Howard Klein, and Ben Silverman serve as executive producers, with Universal Television producing the series.

“We wanted to capture the spirit of The Office while exploring a new workplace and set of characters,” Daniels said about the series, according to Variety. With all episodes available at once, fans can now dive straight into the new mockumentary world and see how the Truth-Teller team navigates chaos, comedy, and newsroom drama.
