‘The Rising of the Shield Hero’ Season 4 Confirms July Premiere Date, Releases New Trailer and Visual

The Rising of the Shield Hero is one of the most popular isekai series today and there is a lot of hype about the show, whose fourth season is coming next month, which is what we are going to talk about in this report.

The popular anime series is based on the ongoing novel series by Aneko Yusagi, which started publication back in 2012; the light novel series debuted in 2013 and there are 22 volumes as of the time of writing.

The fourth season will premiere on July 9, 2025, and the producers have released a new trailer for the upcoming season, as well as a new visual for the upcoming fourth season of the show.

The new trailer and information were revealed during The LIVE of the Shield Hero live event in Japan, which featured the appearances of cast members Kaito Ishikawa (Naofumi), Asami Seto (Raphtalia), Rina Hidaka (Filo), Natsuko Hara (Rishia), Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Ren, Sword Hero), and Makoto Takahashi (Motoyasu, Spear Hero).

The new feature will feature the opening theme song for the new season is “Resolution” by MADKID, while the ending theme song will be “Once in Eternity” by Chiai Fujikawa; both of the performers were also present during the event.

As said, Season 4 will debut on July 9 and will be distributed by Crunchyroll internationally. It will consist of 12 episodes.
