‘The Traitors’ Season 6 Cast Is Stacked With Housewives, Olympians, and a Broadway Legend

Reality competition television rarely finds a format as endlessly reinventable as “The Traitors,” which has spent five seasons proving that throwing celebrities from wildly different corners of pop culture into a Scottish castle never gets old. Each new cast announcement has become something of an event in its own right, with fans dissecting the lineup for potential alliances and betrayals months before a single episode airs.

That anticipation is already building for the show’s next installment, even as the current season continues rolling out on NBC. Peacock wasted little time capitalizing on the momentum, unveiling its next celebrity lineup just one day after the newest season premiered.

Peacock has officially revealed the 23-person celebrity cast for Season 6 of “The Traitors,” with Alan Cumming confirmed to return as host for the murder-mystery competition series. The new lineup includes Kristin Chenoweth, Casey Wilson, Dominic Monaghan, Taylor Hale, Whitney Leavitt, Cynthia Bailey, Gizelle Bryant, Michele Fitzgerald, Bianca Del Rio, and “Love Island” narrator Iain Stirling, among others.

The full cast rounds out with Q Burdette, Rachel Robinson, Johnny Sibilly, Boman Martinez-Reid, Bronwyn Newport, Chloe Kim, Cody Simpson, Craig Conover, Emira D’Spain, Jag Bains, JaNa Craig, Joey Graziadei, and Rashad Jennings. That mix spans everything from Broadway and film to reality television staples and professional sports, continuing the show’s tradition of throwing together contestants who would rarely otherwise cross paths.

Several franchises are heavily represented in the new lineup. The “Real Housewives” universe contributes three names, with Bronwyn Newport from “Salt Lake City,” Cynthia Bailey from “Atlanta,” and Gizelle Bryant from “Potomac” all joining the competition. Reality competition veterans also make a strong showing, with Taylor Hale and Jag Bains both bringing experience from “Big Brother” and “The Amazing Race,” while Michele Fitzgerald and Q Burdette arrive from backgrounds in “Survivor” and “The Challenge.”

“Love Island” fans will recognize both Iain Stirling and JaNa Craig, while “Southern Charm” star Craig Conover also enters the game. Kristin Chenoweth stands out as one of the biggest names in the group, bringing her Broadway and film pedigree from projects like “Wicked,” “Pushing Daisies,” and “Schmigadoon!” into a format built almost entirely around deception and elimination.

Beyond the reality television regulars, the cast also brings in notable names from sports and music. Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim and NFL veteran Rashad Jennings add athletic credibility to the mix, while singer Cody Simpson rounds out the more musically inclined additions to the lineup.

Actor Dominic Monaghan, best known for his role in “Lost,” also joins the competition, giving the cast another recognizable face from scripted television alongside its heavy reality TV contingent.

According to reports, “The Traitors” has already been renewed through Season 8, signaling that Peacock has no plans to slow down its investment in the franchise anytime soon. No official premiere date has been announced yet for Season 6, though the season is expected to roll out sometime in 2027.

With Season 5, subtitled “New Blood,” still airing new episodes on NBC, fans now have two full seasons’ worth of castle intrigue to look forward to between the current run and next year’s newly announced cast. Given how quickly this announcement followed the current season’s premiere, Peacock clearly isn’t wasting any time keeping the “Traitors” hype train moving.
