‘The White Lotus’ Season 4? The Cast Dreams Big—Including a Zombie Jennifer Coolidge!

The third season of ‘White Lotus’ is scheduled to premiere on February 16, 2025, with episodes airing weekly, but we do know that season 4 has been renewed ahead of the premiere. As usual, fans have already started speculating about the potential setting, new cast members, and stories that might be explored.

In a recent interview, members of the season 3 cast shared their dream ideas for the future of ‘The White Lotus,’ offering up some exciting—and unexpected—suggestions.

Michelle Monaghan, who joins season 3 as actress Jaclyn, is fully on board with the idea of shaking things up by moving the next season to the snow-capped mountains of a luxury ski resort. While ‘The White Lotus’ has so far taken viewers to tropical destinations, Monaghan believes a wintery setting could provide a fresh take on the show’s signature mix of satire and suspense.

“That would be an interesting choice – to switch it up from the beach to winter. That would be amazing, it would be beautiful. Imagine like all the great European ski resorts. I would sign up for that,” Monaghan shared.

As for who should make up the cast? She’s leaving that to Mike White, who she says has a “knack for casting the unexpected.” Monaghan praised White’s ability to find the perfect actors for each role, adding, “Every single season was perfectly cast. I couldn’t think of one person. I’m gonna leave all that to Mike.”

Natasha Rothwell, who is reprising her role as spa manager Belinda from season 1, has her own vision for where the show should head next. While she agrees that a ski resort would be “really cool,” she also hopes the show might venture beyond Europe or Asia and explore an entirely new landscape.

“For the star, she would love to see it take place on the continent like Africa, South Africa, Morocco, or Egypt,” Rothwell said. “It’s certainly a different vibe, but one we would be very much seated for!“

While the show has brought back select characters in previous seasons—such as Jennifer Coolidge’s beloved Tanya McQuoid from season 1 to season 2—her tragic fate in Sicily seemingly put an end to her story. But Rothwell isn’t convinced that Tanya is truly gone for good.

“Bring Jennifer back as a zombie! I want to play with her again, she’s so fun to act with!” Rothwell joked.

Although the idea of a supernatural twist in ‘The White Lotus’ seems unlikely, Rothwell is still hoping to see familiar faces from earlier seasons return.

“I think there’s so many cool people that could come back. I mean, Jake Lacy [the privileged Shane], Sydney Sweeney [college student Olivia]… it would be really cool wherever it is to see what happens,” she said.

Of course, Rothwell herself is hoping to survive season 3 so that Belinda can make another appearance. “But I don’t even know if I’m gonna be in it. You know what I mean? I have to survive season 3!“

While season 4 is still in the early stages, fans are eagerly speculating on where the next luxurious resort will be located and which characters might make a comeback. One thing is certain: whatever Mike White has in store, it’s bound to be full of unexpected twists, sharp social commentary, and plenty of drama.

Until then, all eyes are on season 3, which will transport viewers to Thailand for another unforgettable vacation—one that, as always, is sure to end in chaos.
