The Witcher: New Official Stills Revealed Ahead Of The Season 2

After two years of waiting, The Witcher finally returns! Henry Cavill’s Geralt of Rivia is back for the second season of the famous Netflix show based on the series of fantasy novels written by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski.

The Witcher debuted on Netflix in December 2019. The series is starring Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Freya Allan as Ciri, and Anya Chalotra as Yennefer of Vengerberg. They all return now in the highly anticipated second season, which is set to debut on Netflix this Friday, December 17.

Ahead of the season’s debut, Netflix revealed new official stills. You can check them out below:

Official stills are highlighting Cavill’s Geralt of Rivia, as well as other main characters, particularly Ciri. Also, one of the images gave a new look at Danish actor Kim Bodnia as Vesemir, the witcher of the School of the Wolf and Geralt’s mentor. Images are also showing us Kaer Morhen, which can be described as the witchers’ base of operations. Season 2 is based on Blood of Elves book and the beginning of Time of Contempt.

Season 2 will be available on Netflix on December 17, 2021.
