The second season of the popular Netflix fantasy series has not yet come out, and there is already a lot of talk about the third.

The series returns with a second season this December, and a third season will begin filming in early 2022, reported by Redanian Intelligence. According to the report, the working title of the third season will be “Mysterious Monsters.”

The show premiered in December 2019, and it will finally return after two years of hiatus. The third season was officially announced at the TUDUM event last month.

The Witcher is based on a series of fantasy novels written by Andrzej Sapkowski. From the showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich, the series follows the journey of Henry Cavill’s Geralt of Rivia aka The Witcher, a monster slayer whose company throughout the show is Anya Chalotra’s sorceress Yennefer of Vengerberg, and Freya Allan’s Ciri, Princess of Cintra.

The Witcher Season 2 will premiere on December 17.
