Thor: Love And Thunder: Chris Hemsworth And Natalie Portman’s Images From The Set Reveal Flashbacks From The Dark World
Thor: Love and Thunder, the fourth movie of the Thor saga has been in production for quite some time. And today we got new images from the set which are showing that the movie will feature a flashback scene from the 2013 movie Thor: The Dark World.
Main stars Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman are seen on the set wearing wigs that match their hairstyles from The Dark World. From the images, we can see that their characters, Thor and Jane, are having a stroll holding hands and eating hot dogs. That probably explains the Love part in the movie’s title.
Announced in July 2019, Thor: Love and Thunder makes Thor the first Marvel hero with four solo movies and the second MCU tetralogy after Avengers. Chris Hemsworth returns in his ninth appearance as God of Thunder, and Natalie Portman returns as Jane Foster after skipping Thor: Ragnarok. Her character is set to wield the power of Mjølnir in the movie.
Tessa Thompson, Jaimie Alexander, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Jeff Goldblum, and Vin Diesel are all returning in their respective MCU roles, while Christian Bale will play the villain Gorr, The God Butcher.
The movie will be partially inspired by the comic series Thor: God of Thunder published between 2012 and 2014. Taika Waititi returns as the director.
Thor: Love and Thunder will hit theaters in July 2022.
