Timothée Chalamet Shares His All-Time Favorite Films
Timothée Chalamet recently shared some insights into his favorite movies, revealing a mix of modern superhero classics and 90s crime dramas that have influenced him.
During a chat on Anthony Edwards’ YouTube show, “Believe that Awards,” the Dune star opened up about films that shaped his love for acting.
The segment, created by the Minnesota Timberwolves player to highlight notable personalities, also gave Chalamet a humorous title: the very first “White Boy of the Year.” The actor couldn’t stop laughing during the lighthearted presentation, which also included a funny moment when Edwards mispronounced Liam Neeson’s name.
Chalamet revealed that while Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight will always hold a special place for him, he has recently become obsessed with Michael Mann’s 1995 crime drama Heat. “I always say The Dark Knight. That’s always going to be my favorite. But my favorite of the year has been Heat. I saw Heat late and Heat is a classic. Heat with Pacino and De Niro,” he said.
Interestingly, Heat also served as inspiration for Nolan when he created The Dark Knight in 2008, starring Christian Bale. In that way, Chalamet’s top two favorite films are connected, each influencing modern cinema and his own journey as an actor.
The actor also spoke about his upcoming work, highlighting the movie Marty Supreme. He called it “maybe the project I’m most proud of” and described it as “the best thing I’ve been in.”
Chalamet’s comments show not only his admiration for influential films but also his excitement for the projects he’s working on. He continues to balance a love for iconic classics with his own growing career, leaving fans eager to see what he does next.
