Joseph Morgan, best known for the role of Klaus Mikaelson in The Vampire Diaries and its spin-off series The Originals has officially joined Brenton Thwaites and the rest of the cast in the upcoming fourth season of DC’s HBOMax original series Titans.

Deadline and the official social media accounts of the series confirmed that Morgan will portray Sebastian Blood. Franka Potente and Lisa Ambalavanar also joined the cast, and they’re set to play Mother Mayhem and Jinx, respectively. You can see the official announcement below:

Titans premiered on the DC Universe streaming platform in October of 2018. The first two seasons aired on DC Universe before HBOMax launched. After HBOMax launched in 2020, all the shows from DC Universe were moved to the new streaming service. Titans Season 3 aired on HBOMax last summer, and Season 4 was officially announced last October on the DC FanDome event.

This won’t be the first time that Sebastian Blood is appearing on DCTV. Lucifer star Kevin Alejandro played the villain in the second season of Arrow, where he was the secondary antagonist. next to Manu Bennett’s Slade Wilson/Deathstroke. Mother Mayhem was also featured in the second season of Arrow (played by Ana Mercedes). She was Sebastian Blood’s mother, and she was killed by him as well. As for Jinx, she is the leader of Fearsome Five, the group of supervillains that are known as common enemies of Titans.

DC’s Titans series is starring Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, Ryan Potter, Conor Leslie, Curran Walters, Joshua Orpin, Damaris Lewis, Savannah Welch, Minka Kelly, and Alan Ritchson. It’s expected that most of the cast will return, although the return of some actors, like Damaris Lewis and Alan Ritchson, is questionable considering how the last season ended for their characters. We will just need to wait and see.

Titans Season 4 will start production this year, the premiere date is still unknown, but don’t expect it anytime soon.
