‘TMNT: Best Of – Old Hob’ #1 Preview: A Collection to Behold!
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are, now, a brand and they are definitely one of the pillars of modern pop culture. And while the franchise is best known for its animated adaptations, they actually started off as comic book heroes.
Several publishers have published TMNT stories and IDW Publishing has now decided to bring us some special collected editions focused on specific characters. The first issue? The one focusing on Old Hob!
TMNT: Best Of – Old Hob #1 is coming out on May 7, 2025 and IDW Publishing has luckily provided us with the first preview images, which we are going to show you in this report.

This collection will actually include stories written and drawn by various authors from different points in the series’ evolution, and it is going to bring several stories that are connected by one chatater – Old Hob. Here’s the official synopsis with more details:
A common house cat that mutated alongside four turtles and a rat, Old Hob has been there from the beginning. What sets him apart from the TMNT? He will stop at nothing to make the world a better place for mutants like him. Watch Old Hob build and burn bridges with whomever he must in these, his greatest hits!
