Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas Reportedly Split – Here’s Why

Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas have ended their relationship after dating for less than nine months.

The Hollywood superstar, 63, and the Cuban-born actress, 37, first sparked romance rumors in February and went public in the spring. According to The Sun, the couple recently decided it was best to remain friends.

A source close to the pair told The Sun, “Tom and Ana had a good time together but their time as a couple has run its course. They are going to remain good friends but they aren’t dating anymore. They just realised they weren’t going to go the distance and that they are better off as mates.”

“The spark had gone between them but they still love each other’s company and they’ve both been really adult about it. She’s already been cast in his next film, so they will continue to work together.”

The couple had been seen on several dates throughout the year. In April, Cruise flew Ana to Madrid on his private jet, and later they celebrated her 37th birthday in London by helicopter.

They also attended David Beckham’s 50th birthday party in May, went to an Oasis concert at Wembley Stadium, and took a trip to Spain where they were seen on a yacht.

Cruise and de Armas are set to star together in the supernatural thriller Deeper, although the film has reportedly been put on hold. They were recently spotted in London rehearsing for their roles. The pair are also planning to collaborate on another movie currently titled Pressure, according to The Sun.

While the relationship may be over, it seems professional collaboration will continue.
