[Trailer] ‘The Morning Show’ Season 4 Promises High-Stakes Reset & Second Chances
Jennifer Aniston returns as Alex Levy in the newly released trailer for The Morning Show Season 4. The preview highlights a major reset for the show-within-the-show, TMS, following the dramatic merger at the end of season three.
Alex has risen to a top executive role after combining her network with a rival, forming UBN.
The trailer hints at challenges in her new position, questioning whether her leadership is a breakthrough or a risky “glass cliff.” She plans to change the company’s culture with the support of Stella (Greta Lee) and Mia (Karen Pittman).
However, newcomer Celine Dumont, played by Marion Cotillard, arrives to challenge Alex’s vision, calling the idea of a “female utopia” unrealistic. Boyd Holbrook joins as a podcaster and potential love interest, adding more tension to the storyline.

Reese Witherspoon’s Bradley Jackson is back after last season’s cliffhanger, where she turned herself in for her involvement in a political cover-up. The fourth season jumps nearly two years ahead to spring 2024, leaving questions about her time in custody unanswered. Bradley resumes her journalism career, investigating a dangerous cover-up with help from former colleague Chip (Mark Duplass).
Other returning characters include Jon Hamm’s Paul and Billy Crudup’s former CEO Cory. The trailer suggests complex dynamics and high-stakes confrontations, with Alex warning, “You can’t clean a house if you’re about to blow it up,” as the FBI enters the scene. Fans also see hints of a romantic connection between Bradley and Cory.
Showrunner Charlotte Stoudt emphasized the season’s focus on accountability and second chances. “There is accountability, but it’s not bleak. Even when you have to be accountable for something, life can go on,” she told The Hollywood Reporter.
Season 4 promises drama, power struggles, and personal growth for its characters as the newsroom navigates both professional and personal challenges.
