Trump Team Roasts Sabrina Carpenter Over ICE Video Complaint, Calls Her “Stupid or Slow?”
The White House and pop star Sabrina Carpenter found themselves in a public dispute on Tuesday over the use of her music. Carpenter objected to the Trump administration using her song “Juno” in a video about ICE arrests.
The video, shared on the White House’s official social media accounts, showed agents arresting people and included footage of protests in Chicago.

Carpenter reacted strongly, calling the video “evil and disgusting” and asking that her music not be used to “benefit [the administration’s] inhumane agenda.”
The White House responded sharply. Spokesperson Abigail Jackson released a statement saying, “Here’s a Short n’ Sweet message for Sabrina Carpenter: We won’t apologize for deporting dangerous criminal illegal mur*****, r*****, and ped***** from our country. Anyone who would defend these sick monsters must be stupid, or is it slow?” The statement also referenced Carpenter’s recent albums.
This isn’t the first time musicians have challenged the Trump administration over unauthorized use of their music. Many artists have publicly objected when their songs were used in political campaigns or government materials without permission.
