British actress Vanessa Kirby has officially entered a new chapter as the Global Ambassador for Lancôme, an appointment announced on March 4. The star joins an elite roster of brand faces, following in the footsteps of icons such as Julia Roberts, Olivia Rodrigo, and Christy Turlington.

Reflecting on the partnership, Kirby shared a personal connection to the legacy of the French beauty house, noting that the brand has been a fixture in her own history for as long as she can remember. She described the opportunity as very surreal and deeply honoring, emphasizing that the label stands for confidence, resilience, and the courage to be yourself.

Lancôme Global Brand President Vania Lacascade praised the actress for her captivating depth and sophisticated beauty, stating that Kirby’s commitment to exploring the nuances of the human experience makes her a perfect mirror for the brand’s mission. Kirby herself expressed her pride in joining a collective committed to supporting women and promoting beauty in all its various forms.

The announcement comes at a peak moment in Kirby’s career, as she continues to lead major blockbuster franchises. Most recently, she captivated audiences as Sue Storm in Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which became a significant hit following its July 2025 release.

Kirby’s portrayal of the Invisible Woman was noted for its emotional resonance, with the actress focusing on the character’s journey as both a righteous activist and a mother. She is already set to reprise the role in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, which is currently in post-production and scheduled for a December release.

Aside from her work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Kirby has been busy with her own production company, Aluna Entertainment. She recently produced and starred in the Netflix film The Night Always Comes, a gritty drama that allowed her to showcase the authentic vulnerability that brand executives cited as a key reason for her appointment.

Beyond her onscreen achievements, the BAFTA winner remains a dedicated advocate for children’s rights, particularly those living in high-conflict areas. This humanitarian spirit aligns with her new role, as she joins a group of global ambassadors that includes Aya Nakamura and Zendaya.

With her new campaign set to roll out across skincare, makeup, and fragrance lines, Kirby’s presence will soon be felt in over 135 countries. Whether she is navigating a retro-futuristic world or a high-stakes red carpet, the actress continues to prove that she is one of the most compelling and thoughtful voices of her generation.
