Rocker Rod Stewart had a surprising moment during his concert in Athens, Greece, when he stopped mid-song to scold a fan.

The 80-year-old singer, performing a set of 25 songs including hits like Maggie May, You Wear It Well, and Hot Legs, became frustrated during Do Ya Think I’m Sexy? over a fan holding up a sign.

Gesturing toward the front of the stage, Stewart shouted into the microphone, “Out the f***** way. You’re spoiling the show for everybody. Out the way. Leave. We don’t need you here!” He continued, “All she’s doing is putting up a sign. It’s not hurting you is it, mate?” After addressing the fan, he turned back to his band and said, “OK, from the top… where we left off.”

A clip of the incident circulated on TikTok, with some viewers speculating that Stewart, who was carrying a football on stage, might still have been upset over Celtic’s loss to St. Mirren earlier that day. The Scottish club suffered a 3-1 defeat in the Premier Sports Cup at Hampden Park, adding to a tough season for Stewart’s beloved team.

It’s clear that even at 80, Rod Stewart still brings his fiery energy to the stage. While some fans may have been shocked by his outburst, it shows how seriously he takes his live performances and the audience experience.
