Vincent D’Onofrio Teases Fans: Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 Is Being Planned

Fans of Daredevil: Born Again definitely have something to look forward to, as Vincent D’Onofrio has hinted that a third season might be on the way.

In a recent interview with Awards Buzz, D’Onofrio revealed that the team behind the show is already planning for a potential third season. He shared his thoughts, saying:

“If they let us do it, we have a plan. It is up to the fans to watch and to get excited. And it is up to us to please them and get the story right. We are looking forward in a big way.”

Right now, Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is already happening. Filming is currently taking place in New York City. There are rumors that it might be released next March. However, no official announcements have been made about Season 3.

D’Onofrio’s words give fans hope. He made it clear that audience support is important. The show’s future depends on how well Season 2 is received. If fans continue to watch and show excitement, there could be more stories to come.

As far as Kingpin’s own story goes outside of Daredevil: Born Again, that remains to be a mystery. A few weeks ago, D’Onofrio was asked about his future appearances in the movies, and his answer was simple: he has no idea, but it’s complicated.

I don’t know about the movies at all” the actor stated, “nobody ever talks to me about the movies. It’s all caught up in rights and stuff.”

During the interview, he addressed the issue once again:

“I would love for them the rights thing figured out with Sony. I think that will eventually happen, I don’t know when or how they’re going about it, but I can’t imagine that they won’t figure out something. We’ll see.”

And that’s all, folks. As it stands, a big-screen appearance for Wilson Fisk isn’t happening anytime soon, at least not unless Marvel Studios finds a way to resolve the ongoing rights issues.

Kingpin isn’t the only character caught in this legal limbo. The rights situation surrounding the Hulk is already the stuff of legend, and it’s one of the main reasons the Green Goliath, despite being one of the MCU’s most beloved characters, has only one solo film to his name.
