Wednesday Returns: Netflix Unveils Spooky Sneak Peek for Season 2 Part 2
Netflix has given fans a new look at Wednesday Season 2 Part 2 with a brand-new sneak peek. The Addams teen is back at Nevermore Academy, and the spooky adventures are far from over.
The teaser reveals what happens after the first part of Season 2, which premiered on August 6 and left viewers eagerly waiting for the next episodes.
Wednesday’s life at Nevermore has been anything but simple. Her whole family is now living at the academy, and her mother is keeping a close eye on her, especially when she’s pushing her psychic abilities too far.
By the end of Episode 4, Wednesday was in worse shape than ever. Losing her psychic powers forced her to rely solely on her detective skills to solve a series of mysteries, including uncovering who was after her friend Enid and the significance of the one-eyed crow. During her investigation, she accidentally caused a breakout at Willow Hill, a psychiatric facility that also held Tyler, the Hyde.
By the episode’s end, Tyler had escaped, and Wednesday was thrown off a high window in the chaos.
The new trailer shows Wednesday waking up in a hospital, where she meets her new spirit guide, Principal Weems. Her previous guide, Goody Addams, sacrificed herself to save Wednesday, but Weems proves far less gentle. Wednesday, expecting some support, finds herself in what she calls a “ring of hell.”
The sneak peek highlights the first conversation between Wednesday and Principal Weems, who is just as sarcastic and sharp as ever from beyond the grave.
“Congratulations, Ms. Addams. Your hubris has yet again made you the architect of your own demise,” Weems tells her. The spirit guide isn’t there to sugarcoat anything. “And your arrogance has only made you more insufferable,” she adds, making it clear that Wednesday has her work cut out for her.
The teaser also sets a chilling tone with Morticia reciting a witches’ song from Macbeth: “Nothing like death, despair, and dismemberment to try and snap her out of a coma.” Fans are buzzing over the dynamic between Wednesday and Weems, eager to see how the sarcastic spirit guide will shape the second part of the season.
