Looking for something exciting to watch after the holidays? January 2025 has a fantastic lineup on Apple TV+ with new releases you won’t want to miss! From the long-awaited return of Severance to the debut of the thrilling conspiracy series ‘Prime Target,’ there’s plenty to keep you hooked.
1. January 17 – ‘Severance’ (Season 2)
‘Severance’ follows Mark Scout, who works at Lumon Industries, where employees undergo a procedure that separates their work and personal memories. This creates two versions of each person: an “innie” who only remembers work, and an “outie” who doesn’t know anything about work.
In season 1, Mark and his coworkers uncover strange truths about Lumon and interact with the outside world. Season 2 will explore the consequences of their actions and reveal Lumon’s true motives. It premieres on January 17 on Apple TV+.
2. January 22 – ‘Prime Target’
‘Prime Target’ is a thriller miniseries set to premiere on Apple TV+ on January 22, 2025. It follows a post-graduate math student who uncovers a plot to destroy his work on finding a pattern in prime numbers that could let him hack into any computer.
The cast includes Leo Woodall, Quintessa Swindell, and Stephen Rea, among others. The series, created by Steve Thompson, is directed by Brady Hood and filmed in various locations, including Windsor and Cambridge.
3. January 24 – ‘Eva the Owlet’ (Season 2)
‘Eva the Owlet’ is a show based on the popular children’s book series ‘Owl Diaries.’ It follows a young owl named Eva as she learns about life and writes about her discoveries in her diary. Along the way, she makes friends and helps others.
In Season 2, Eva goes on more adventures with the same charming papercraft art style that parents enjoy.
4. January 29 – ‘Mythic Quest’ (Season 4)
‘Mythic Quest’ is a comedy series about a fictional video game studio that makes a popular game called ‘Mythic Quest.’ The show started on February 7, 2020, and has been renewed for multiple seasons. Season 4 will debut on January 29, 2025. There’s also a spin-off series, ‘Side Quest,’ coming in March 2025.
