Will She-Hulk Head to Space in Season 2 and Encounter a Major Marvel Cosmic Entity?

For many fans, “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” represented a turning point in the MCU. While critics generally praised the show, it faced significant backlash from fans, who criticized both the story and overall tone.

The show stood out for its light-hearted, feminist approach and never attempted to be anything other than fun. However, this approach came at a high cost, making it the most expensive Marvel project per episode at the time. This high expense naturally raises concerns about the likelihood of a second season.

Maslany’s comments criticizing Bob Iger as out of touch with reality—particularly when the multi-millionaire CEO labeled the SAG-AFTRA actors’ union demands for fair wages as “unrealistic” during the months-long strike that halted Hollywood—do not improve the odds for a second season.

In summary, while the chances of “She-Hulk” getting a second season are slim, they are not entirely zero. In a recent interview with ComicBook, ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ producer Wendy Jacobson hinted at potential directions for Walters’ story. Some possibilities are more grounded, while others are intriguingly cosmic.

I don’t know the answer to that question. I mean, if we’re doing more She-Hulk… What I love about She-Hulk is just kind of being in this character’s everyday life. It’s a woman in her thirties, trying to navigate her life and her career and her friendships, and oh, she just happens to also be able to turn into a Hulk. So, I think I would love to explore more of that. There’s also a run in the comics where she goes into space and she’s adjudicating cases for the Living Tribunal. So, I either want to be super, super grounded in L.A. or I want to take her out into the multiverse, or into the universe.

A multiverse approach would fit well within the current MCU framework. However, with ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ set to release next year, there’s a possibility that executives might find a way to integrate She-Hulk’s story on a street-level scale. What are your thoughts?
