Woody and Buzz Are Back! ‘Toy Story 5’ Trailer Shows Toys Taking on Technology

In the trailer, Woody—now sporting a poncho—and Buzz reunite to rescue Bonnie from her new Lilypad smart tablet. They join Jessie, Forky, Slinky Dog, Hamm, Trixie, and even an army of Buzz Lightyears to stop technology from taking over children’s playtime. The story promises a mix of adventure, humor, and a thoughtful look at how devices are shaping childhood.
Most of the familiar voice cast returns, including Tom Hanks as Woody and Tim Allen as Buzz, along with Joan Cusack, Blake Clark, and Tony Hale. New voices, such as Greta Lee and Conan O’Brien, join the mix, adding fresh energy to the beloved franchise.
Andrew Stanton, a Pixar veteran, serves as director and screenwriter.
