Saturday night’s WWE Main Event turned into a wild evening that fans won’t forget anytime soon.

After an exciting battle between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre, where Rhodes managed to hold on to his Championship, the focus shifted to the WWE Women’s Championship match between Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill. What followed was one of the most brutal and dominant performances seen in recent WWE history.

According to WWE.com, things went wrong for Stratton almost right after the bell rang. Cargill started off strong, slamming Stratton hard to the mat, and that’s when Stratton immediately grabbed her knee in pain.

Seeing an opening, Cargill didn’t waste any time. She went straight after the injury, kicking the back of Stratton’s knee and knocking her down again before delivering another big slam.

Stratton showed some fight, managing to kick out of an early pin at two, but it was clear she was struggling. Every time she tried to get up, her knee slowed her down. When Cargill charged at her, Stratton moved out of the way, sending Cargill into the ring post.

It looked like Stratton might turn things around, but she couldn’t climb the top rope fast enough. Cargill caught her, pulled her down by the hair, and slammed her face-first into the apron, leaving the champion lying on the floor.

Back in the ring, Cargill threw Stratton onto the steel steps before charging at her again. Stratton managed to counter, sending Cargill into the steps this time. With all her effort, Stratton climbed to the top rope and hit a swanton, but Cargill still kicked out. That moment was the last bit of momentum Stratton had.

Cargill responded with her Eye of the Storm move, followed by not one but three Fallaway slams. Stratton refused to quit, kicking out each time, but she was barely standing. Cargill then hit a huge sit-down powerbomb, and even though Stratton somehow kicked out again, it was only delaying the inevitable. Cargill hit two more powerbombs before finishing things with her signature Jaded move. That was it, Cargill pinned Stratton to become the new WWE Women’s Champion.

This match marked a major moment in Jade Cargill’s WWE career. It was not only her first singles title win but also her most dominant performance to date. For Stratton, it was a devastating night. The knee injury she suffered early on left her completely vulnerable, and once Cargill locked in, there was nothing she could do to fight back.

Now that Cargill holds the Women’s Championship, the WWE roster is wide open for her next challengers. Many fans are already talking about a possible showdown with Bianca Belair once she returns from injury. When that happens, it could turn into one of the biggest rivalries of the year.
